Europa Report (2013)

I was really thrilled to watch another film without a bad guy! There's no villain here, no monster hunting the crew, no evil corporation - just a small team of astronauts trying to reach Jupiter's moon Europa, and doing their best when things go wrong. It's all about the science. Europa is one of the best places in the solar system to look for life, because there's a huge liquid ocean hiding under its icy crust. Nobody has found life there yet - but we don't know that there isn't any! The found-footage style won't be for everyone, but it takes the science seriously and treats its astronauts like real professionals, which is rarer than it should be.
